I even had the chance once to go out and take actions shots of some reiners.  I can remember how exhilarating it was when I got the perfect shot!  I knew from then on that I was hooked on photography!

For me, it is the finished product that truly excites me about photography.  The framed print that hangs on the living room wall that we cherish forever of our loved ones, or the one that brings back fond memories of the good old days.  I find there are many amateur photographers out there that simply shoot because its the technological aspect of things that really interests them.

Although I appreciate technology as well, I really find that has nothing to do with my attraction to this art.  I shoot because of how it feeds me emotionally and it is my goal to have these emotions portrayed in every photo I take.

There is just something to be said for the image that simply takes your breath away, makes your heart skip a beat, or captures the spirit of your soul-mate!  I believe though, in order to produce the perfect photograph you need to have a little education behind you.  I've learned that creativity and good technique do in fact go hand in hand!

"It is because of my respect for the art of good photography that I decided to return to school and make it my full time study.  After ten months of strict dedication and a lot of hard work,  I am proud to say that I am a diploma graduate in professional photography!

My interest in photography began many years ago through animal portraiture but it wasn't until recently that I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a professional photographer.

In the late 90's I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work casually for my friends from McMasters Photographers at horse shows.  I was just a helper, setting up horses and getting the expression that was required for the shoot.
